Our Caramel Apple Poke Cake is made with a boxed yellow cake mix to create an easy dessert that is guaranteed to be perfectly moist and delicious.

Caramel Apple Poke Cake Recipe
Caramel Apple Poke Cake Ingredients:
1 box Yellow Cake Mix (plus box ingredients)
14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
20 oz Apple Pie Filling
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/4 tsp Nutmeg
1 container Caramel Frosting
Caramel Apple Poke Cake Directions:
Prepare cake in Non-Stick 9 x 13-Inch Pan according to box directions.
Use a spoon handle to poke holes evenly across the cake. Combine sweetened condensed milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Whisk until well blended.
Pour mixture over cake making sure it gets down into holes.
Using a knife, chop apple pie filling into smaller pieces and spread over top of the cake.
Refrigerate cake for several hours.
Open frosting container and remove foil seal.
Microwave for 15 seconds and stir. Repeat this until frosting is pourable.
Pour over cake and spread with a spatula to cover completely.
Refrigerate for at least several more hours.

I would recommend using a caramel sauce and vanilla frosting. You could also add cinnamon to a vanilla frosting to change its flavour.
