Blender drinks are one of my favorite things about summertime and warm weather. With a blender, fruit, and ice you have almost limitless options of combinations, flavors, mocktails, and cocktails. While I anxiously await summer fruit, I’ve created an Orange Grapefruit Margarita that tastes delicious any time of year.
My Orange Grapefruit Margarita is made refreshing with fresh grapefruit and orange juice.

Orange Grapefruit Margarita
1 grapefruit, sectioned, peeled and seeded.
1 cup of orange juice
Juice of lime
1/4 cup Cointreau
1/4 cup Tequila
2 cups of ice cubes
Salt for rim
Lime wedges for garnish.
Place all ingredients insideBrevilleHemisphere® Twist except the lime in the blender and pulse until ice is crushed. Take Lime in halves and rotate on citrus cone lid to juice lime. Once complete blend on high for a few seconds until fully mixed together. Run a lime wedge along the rim to moisten then swirl in salt to coat the edge of the glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and a fun straw.

Whether or not you make these for a crowd or yourself they are a showstopper. Serve them in a shorter glass for a more casual drink or in a traditional margarita glass for a Mexican-inspired beverage.
With fresh grapefruit, this drink is not only delicious but is filling and better than those filled with syrup or fake ingredients.
If you are looking to make this drink a mocktail remove Cointreau and Tequila and replace with an additional 1/2 cup orange juice.
