Today started off a lazy Sunday. A pancake breakfast with everyone in the pj’s and a few delightful cups of coffee while the warm sun streamed in the window. My husband and I made our meal plans for the week and decided he would do the grocery shopping while I did some stuff around the house. Off the boys headed to the grocery store and I decided I would reorganize the kitchen. I cleaned cupboards, checked expiry dates on food, tossed out partial bags and vacuumed out my drawers. I was like a bee buzzing from one flower to the next. By the time my family came home I had accomplished far more than I anticipated and it felt like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. Order relaxes me. Chaos brings me stress. Thinking about this life lesson I began to ponder what parts of my life could use some reorganization. But that seemed far too insurmountable a task for this Sunday’s To Do List.
