If you have been a follower of my blog you will know that I am not only a huge fan of Alanna at Good Night Sleep Site, I am also in awe of how sleep training our toddlers has changed my life. Sleep is everything. It is not only essential to my boys development but it is critical to my marriage, my mental health and my weight. I used to think that sleep was one of my “greatest skills” but once I had twins things changed dramatically. Not only was I sleep deprived but I lived in that state for months, years even while working full time, parenting and running my husband’s business. It was tough days.
One day at the beginning of August (2012) my boys refused to nap. Tired, at my total wits end I searched online for sleep consultants that I could call for help. I had read the books (every single one of them) and had tried to implement their suggestions but was obviously failing. I needed help to really get this under control. I called Alanna.
