Sears Canada is making moves to ensure that their stores have the best products at the best prices in the best environment for their customers. I know because I’ve seen it. Sears Canada has been making the news lately with their new store layout and approach, so I decided to check it out for myself.
Sears Canada is Shaking It Up
I’ve always been a big fan of Sears. I’ve been shopping there for years, and they’ve always had the brands I want at prices I want. Now, though? Wow. They have totally revamped their stores and their approach to make an experience that is so wonderful. They have four new concept stores out now to see how their new approach will be received, and if other consumers have an experience like I did, I’m confident they’ll make the switch in all of their stores across Canada.
So Easy to Shop!
One of my biggest pet peeves with any store is feeling cramped. I hate having to thread my way through circular racks that are so closes together, I feel like I’m navigating a clothing maze. Sears Canada has taken that cramped, claustrophobic feel that you find in so many other stores and kicked it right out the door.
The atmosphere is clean and inviting. There’s no clutter or difficulty in maneuvering through the store, which I LOVE. In fact, they’ve implemented a center runway shopping concept that allows me to easily see all the clothing, appliances, accessories, and more that I head to Sears for without that cramped feel.
Only the Good Stuff
Sears Canada is making sure that they give their customers the best of the best, as well. They’ve taken an approach to quality over quantity that I think is so smart, releasing new fashion lines like Tom Tailor, Jacqueline De Yonge, One Fashion by Vero Moda, and Jessica Simpson collections. All of these collections are focused on keeping me and my family in fashion and out of debt. They’ve really hit the mark with their level of quality and price points.
Giving Us More with Less
I think the most impressive part of the new Sears Canada approach is that they have managed to give their customers more with less. I can see more. I can experience their clothing, appliances, and other products better because of the ease of access. I just feel all around more comfortable and at ease when I shop the new Sears Canada layout.

Sears Canada has really nailed the shopping experience, in my opinion. I never felt crowded or lost in the store. I could easily see everything, and I didn’t have to navigate a warren to get to what I wanted. Overall, it was the best experience I’ve had in any retail store in a long time.
