As a parent of a young child one of the most important things you can do is to begin teaching hygiene routines at an early age. Establishing a good foundation of cleanliness will make it easier to keep that as they grow up, as well as help keep them safe and healthy. Sometimes we can’t be right there to make sure they are washing good enough. By giving them great Kandoo Hand Soap you can easily build that foundation of cleanliness they need. Kandoo products smell great, work well and are coloured to add more fun!
Teaching Hygiene Routines To Kids With Kandoo
Remind them to sing their ABC’s while washing their hands. It’s hard for a little one to understand when you tell them they should wash their hands with hot soapy water for at least 20-30 seconds to kill germs. It’s much easier to provide them with a fun Kandoo Hand Soap they love and remind them to sing a song while they wash. The alphabet song is the most popular, but you can easily choose any of your favorite little songs such as Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or even fun songs from church. The main goal in teaching hygiene routines is to get them use to the time frame it takes to get their hands sanitary.
Talk about what germs can do. Some little ones just don’t want to stop and take the time to clean up. Even at a young age you can easily share with them about what germs do. If your child has recently been sick with a cold or virus, it is easy to let them know that they felt bad because of germs. Don’t scare them with facts, but gently remind them that the better they wash up and practice the hygiene routines you’ve taught them the less likely they are to get sick.
Let them pick their favorite scent of Kandoo. Get your kids involved by letting them pick their favorite scent of Kandoo Hand Soap or Body Wash. Since there are both a body wash and hand wash, you could even put one scent in the shower to wash their body with and one at the sink for their hands.
Use a special washcloth or shower puff in their bath. Kids love having something that is special or just for them. To use their Kandoo Body Wash, pick out a special wash cloth or maybe a brightly colored shower puff for them to use. This will encourage them even more to wash their body thoroughly to stay clean.
Teaching kids hygiene routines that they can keep is a big part of being the parent of a toddler or young child. Enforce a lot of repetitive cleaning so they develop a routine that is natural for them to do no matter where they are. Utilize the Kandoo products in your home and on the go to make sure your kids are staying on top of staying clean and healthy this year. Teaching hygiene routines to kids is easy if you make it a part of their daily lives.
