We love summer! Like most Canadians summertime is the perfect season to spend your time outdoors playing, swimming and exploring the local forests and trails. We’ve spent hours soaking up the sun, the fresh air and getting waterlogged. It’s been amazing!

We are hoping to get in (at least) 3 more hikes and one more camping trip this summer. I think we’ll be combing the camping with one of our hikes. Of course, we have a lot more lake days planned too!

We went to a Fall Out Boy concert on our last day. Kids are back in school already.
The rest of my summer is just going to be relaxing when I can. Sitting outside reading a good book enjoying the weather.

A once a year extended family BBQ, visiting the EX, and a long weekend in cottage country are on my list.
Just relaxing and sleeping in before the madness of school + activities commence.

The next couple of weeks we will be preparing Sophie for her new school routine. Other than that we are hoping to go picking blueberries.

My daughter’s birthday party is coming up, and hopefully enjoy some more time outdoors.

I don’t have many plans for the rest of the summer but there is a fruit festival coming up i’d like to go to.
