Today is the day. I’m 39. It’s a milestone age in my books, an age I thought I would definitely have my sh*t together and it appears that just like all other milestone birthdays so far that isn’t going to be possible. I’m entering my 40th year the time of maturity and adulthood. The funny thing is that even with two 5 year old children, a full time job, a blog and a million other responsibilities I sometimes don’t feel like I could possibly be this old. I feel tired, fulfilled, stressed, frustrated, happy, sad, and every other emotion in the book but in the end I truly cannot believe the age. It’s not even like I have a problem with getting older it’s more that I am incredulous that time is flying by so fast. So today in honour of my 39th birthday I am reflecting on 39 things I am grateful for. The big, the little, and the most important. *Note: They are in no particular order*
