Orange crush is a pop that I have loved since I was a child. The bright orange flavour, rich sweetness and the fun colour make it instantly recognizable. Today we are sharing a recipe that brings together the colour, flavour and fun of Orange Crush into Orange Crush Cupcakes. Check out our cupcakes featured on Happy Hooligans.
Orange Crush Cupcakes
INGREDIENTS Cupcake:
1 box [easyazon_link identifier=”B000RYCIBS” locale=”US” tag=”famfooandtr06-20″]White Cake Mix[/easyazon_link] 3 Egg Whites
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
1 cup Orange Crush
5 tbsp [easyazon_link identifier=”B00AU4P04W” locale=”US” tag=”famfooandtr06-20″]Orange Gelatin Mix[/easyazon_link]
Frosting:
1 cup softened Butter
3 cup Powdered Sugar
1 tbsp Orange Crush
2 tbsp Orange Gelatin Mix
DIRECTIONS Preheat oven 350. Line [easyazon_link identifier=”B003W0UMPI” locale=”US” tag=”famfooandtr06-20″]muffin tins[/easyazon_link] with [easyazon_link identifier=”B00AKG48MK” locale=”US” tag=”famfooandtr06-20″]paper liners[/easyazon_link]. Combine cake mix, egg whites vegetable oil, gelatin mix and orange soda. Beat until blended. Fill liners 2/3 full and bake 18 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Allow to cool completely. Whip butter and gelatin powder until fluffy. Gradually add powdered sugar. Add orange soda until you reach desired consistency. Transfer to piping bag and frost each cupcake.

Is it different to ordinary gelatine, only flavoured?
I am assuming orange crush is just an orange flavoured fizzy drink?!
