It’s week 4 and I’m feeling great! The Activia® Challenge made me aware of areas in my diet that I needed to pay attention to and I’ve swapped out salty and sugary snacks for fresh fruit, yogurt and my new favourites Greek Yogurt Breakfast Bowl and Lime and Raspberry Yogurt Parfait. I love that eating 200 g of Activia yogurt every day has enabled me to easily meet my Canada Food Guide recommended dairy intake and I feel satisfied. Eating higher protein snacks has enabled me balance out my diet and avoid the high calorie processed snacks I used to reach for.
The Activia® Challenge taught me a lot about my choices, reminded me of my love for yogurt and incorporated more healthy food into my life. It has reminded me that taking time to eat well and get regular exercise changes the way I feel about myself and my body. I’ve loved following along with the #hashtag and seeing what my fellow Chatelaine Tasters & Testers have experienced. If you are looking for an easy change that will make you feel great, the 4-Week Activia® Challenge is a great choice.
Check out my wrap up thoughts on the Activia Challenge:
I’ve included another favourite recipe this week. I made this one night when I wanted to reach for a bag of chips but knew that wasn’t the right snack choice! This 4 Ingredient Yogurt Fruit Dip is so quick to make, tastes fantastic and was quickly devoured by myself and my boys. Healthy, filling and tastes great are three key items in the perfect snack for me.
4 Ingredient Yogurt Fruit Dip
Ingredients:
1 cup Activia® yogurt (my fav = Strawberry Rhubarb)
2 tbsp light cream cheese
1 tsp honey
Pinch cinnamon
Directions:
Place all ingredients in small bowl and blend together with a hand mixer or small whisk until all ingredients are smooth. Pour into a bowl and serve with your favourite fruit.
