I would be very interested to try this on my son who is non-verbal with autism spectrum disorder. He gets very agitated, upset, & has meltdowns. But he is a visual-learner, he also is obsessed with technology, & I think to visually see his “emotions”/brain-waves on an iPad would help teach the tools to calm down. I like how it uses EEG technology.

I ve that the muse can detect stress. My mom passed away will be a year on May 2nd. She died of a heart attack at 54 years old. Stress was a big part of her heart condition. I was 5 months pregnant with my 3 rd child. Knowledge is power!!

The feature I like best is the fact that it can reduce stress, because stress (and anxiety) are a huge problem for me. I have been diagnosed with more than one Anxiety Disorder, and I really am feeling like something like this might help a lot with that. I also like the idea of reducing my anxiety without having to take drugs (I’m not taking any right now).
