Back to Basics – Netflix

Watching family-friendly movies with my boys is always fun. There is nothing quiet as wonderful as snuggling together, enjoying a bowl of popcorn and trying to stay awake after dark! Sometimes you just need to get back to basics and enjoy the simple things together!

Recently, after browsing kids movies on Netflix, we decided on Shrek. I am not sure who laughed more, me or the boys, but we laughed until it hurt. They loved all of Donkey’s antics and Shrek’s approach to handing crazy situations. I am a total sucker for Gingy! Who knew a gingerbread man could be so adorable! Our next movie night, we are definitely going with The Lorax. The boys have seen it several times before, but they enjoy it just the same!

I love that Netflix has such family friendly movies. Tonight I was in and out of the room while my kids were watching a movie. Finally my 4yo says, ‘Mom, don’t you want to sit and watch?” So I did. And both my kids pulled up right next to/on me, like I was a magnet. I loved it.
