I love it when hotels have the curved curtain rods. Makes the showers seem so much larger!

I’ve never stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn, but I have stayed at the Fallsview Hilton Hotel and absolutely loved it. The Garden Inn seems like it provides the same kind of quality the Hotel does!

European hotel rooms are (almost) always smaller compared to US and Canadian ones. I think we’re just very spoiled in terms of space!

Cynthia, For Hilton Garden Inn, the European properties have lovely big rooms. Check out this hotel in Sevilla, Spain. http://hiltongardeninn3.hilton.com/en/hotels/spain/hilton-garden-inn-sevilla-SVQGIGI

Kiki – it does depend on where the hotel is located. I’ve stayed in some great hotels in Europe that were just as spacious as North America. However, I have stayed in some historical properties that were tiny!

My family stayed in a HGI hotel for the first time this year several months ago. I agree that they are fantastic properties for families with young children as the rooms are spacious, clean and the breakfasts are made to order – great for fussy eaters!

We stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn in early April. It was nice for sure, we were moved because the hotel before put us in a smoking room with my two little kids and told us even though our itinerary stated no smoking, that “we were wrong”. Whateve!! So yes, I agree Hilton Garden Inn was a much nicer hotel for us. :)
