I was excited to send our boys off to Nursery School for many reasons (time, structure, learning, a break for my husband etc.) but near the top of my list was my desire for fridge art. I love arts and crafts but I have not been brave enough to do these activities, (with the exception of colouring) at home with my boys. Yesterday, proud as peacocks, my boys brought me Easter cards (a little late I know) and I couldn’t be happier. While I know that the Nursery School staff probably did most of the work, I will cherish these two pieces of paper for many years to come.
I am amazed that each has its own personality. One is more precise, with a colourful eye and tail; while the other is missing an eye and contains his own personalized “colouring”. These differences while minute speak to just how different and unique my boys are. With twins it is easy to see their similarities, but for me, it is their differences that speak to who they are.
