Umbra is a company I have loved for many years. The style, design and punctuality of their products makes them truly one of a kind in their market. Affordable prices, beautiful products and a wide range of items make them a perfect gift to give and receive.
For many years I thought that Umbra was a European company but was surprised to find out that it was developed, created and operates out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada but sells it’s products in over 180 countries. Umbra which is Latin for “shade” was born from graphic designer, Paul Rowan. When Rowan who couldn’t find a nice window shade to hang in his apartment window. He made one, people liked it and he joined with childhood friend, Les Mandelbaum to create a unique and captivating company.
This summer I moved to a new home with my boys. While all of my picture frames and memories came with us I wanted to display new pictures and change up my colour scheme to match the new paint colours. Like most decorating it took months before I was ready to hang art and photos on the walls. Once I was ready, I chose some beautiful frames from Umbra and was thrilled with how they look in my new bedroom.
The frames that I chose for this display are the Prism Frame 8×10 Chrome, Fotoblock 4×6 Photo Display, the Simple Frame Blue, and Simple Frame White. Each frame has it’s own unique qualities and is ready to showcase our family memories. I love that the frames are just as beautiful from the side and back angles as from the front and with such a wide range of styles and sizes to choose from it is so easy to put together a display that captures your style and fits with your home. An easy way to decorate, personalize and remind you of the precious memories your family has created.
