I just looked on the Keurig website, and I really like the fact that it features a setting which allows you to prepare specialty drinks. Like mochas and chai teas. I bought my mom an older version and I am pretty sure it does not feature this .. which disappointed us because that is why I had bought it for! If I won this, I would regift it to my mom.
I love that it now has a carafe for those times you want to make more than one cup at a time!

You need to use Keurig brand kcups with the new system and make sure they are compatible. Most are, but you need to double check.
Thanks! I have to confess I buy a lot of the K-compatible cups for work (I don’t have a Keurig at home) and I’m slightly addicted to the PC medium blend ones. Still would be happy to win a Keurig though :-)

This would be just fabulous. I recently moved back to Ontario from living in Ireland for ten years, and had to leave behind my beloved appliances. I am slowly getting them back but was given an older coffee maker from a friend, and sadly, it brewed its last cup of coffee this week. I have heard so many great things about Keurig. The Carafe feature is a fantastic addition to an already great unit. My parents have an older unit that I enjoyed using and would love one for my own apartment. Coffee drinker for life! Drink it black to really enjoy the different brews

Waste not want not. New routine – Quick cup – works for my life at the moment. As is stands a full pot goes to waste – busy Mom grab a coffee travelling cup and off and running….That is what I am excited about. Simplify.

Keurig is an amazing invention. Great variety in coffee that actually taste good! But the best part is that it’s fast and there’s no waste!

The Carafe is what I like most about the 2.0. It’s a pain to make multiple cups when company is over, though it is still versatile enough to do a solo cup in the morning.
Funny thing about the Keurig, is that as a coffee lover, I still have the same boring $19.99 coffee perk that I bought from Canadian Tire, 15-years ago. It’s great if I want to make 12 cups of coffee but not everyone likes my Blueberry Pie coffee or the Gingerbread coffee or pretty much every cool flavour I can produce. If I had a Keurig… Oh, the coffee I could drink. :) And I could let people choose their flavour-de-jour instead of forcing it upon them.
