Whether you are celebrating a night with your love or making a drink for friends this Chocolate Cake Martini is one of a kind. Sweet and smooth = the perfect martini in my books!
Martinis were a drink I was hesitant to drink for a log time. I always presumed they would be too strong, or for people who drank more often than I did. I remember trying my first Gin Martini and feeling like I definitely needed about 100 more olives to make it palatable. I definitely did not see myself sipping martinis casually or really at all. Then, friends invited me to a martini bar in town with a long menu of martini choices filled with fruit juices, liqueurs and a variety of flavours and tastes. It was a whole new experience and one that I really enjoyed. It’s such a fun experience to try new flavours and enjoy a drink with friends. While you will never see a traditional Gin Martini on the blog I’m excited to create some fun drinks to add to your entertaining repertoire.
Creating this delicious drink centred around making a martini that tastes like dessert, a chocolate dessert. I featured flavoured vodka, liqueur and Green & Black’s Almond Milk Chocolate – the perfect amount of sweetness. The result is a Chocolate Cake Martini that pairs well with a meal or as it’s own taste experience.

*I used Three Olives Cake Vodka but any sweet flavoured vodka will work.
