A delicious Hungarian dish that can be made in a large pot or boiling over a campfire. One of our favourite recipes for a meal at home or for a big crowd over the fire.

Ingredients
2cupsredskin potatoescubed
3tbs.olive oil
1small oniondiced
1tbs.minced garlic
1large tomatodiced (you could easily substitute a 14 oz can of diced tomatoes, if needed)
1yellow or green peppercut into chunks
2tbsphungarian paprika
1 16 ozpackage of hot dogscut into slices
salt and pepper to taste
4-5Cupswater
Instructions
#1. Bring campfire to a high enough heat to boil water. Place cast iron pot over fire.
#3. Add in the hot dogs, tomato, pepper, paprika and salt & pepper
#4. Cover the mixture with water (about 4-5 cups) and simmer on medium heat 45 minutes - 1 hour or until the potatoes are cooked through and can be pierced with a fork.
