Perfect Homemade Cranberry Sauce

Perfect cranberry sauce with just 4 ingredients and 10 minutes of cook time. You will never buy canned again!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup of water
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • Juice of 1 whole lime
  • Zest of 1 whole lime

Instructions

  1. Place sugar, water and cranberries in a small saucepan.
  2. On medium heat warm mixture stirring often to dissolve sugar.
  3. Add lime zest and juice and continue to stir on occasion.
  4. Turn stove up to medium-high and allow to come to a rolling boil.
  5. Turn down and simmer for 7-8 minutes until cranberries are soft.
  6. Remove from heat, stir, and allow to cool.
  7. Store covered in the fridge for up to two weeks.
