Airfried Coconut Shrimp with Pina Colada Dip

A delicious crunchy shrimp made without oil! Use your airfryer for the perfect Coconut Shrimp.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of large shrimp
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 2 cups shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs or panko

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl whisk together flour, salt, water and baking powder. Set aside for 5 minutes.
  2. In another bowl mix bread crumbs and coconut together.
  3. Dredge shrimp in liquid then coat in coconut mixture making sure it's totally covered. Repeat until all shrimp are coated.
  4. Preheat Philips Airfryer at 200.
  5. Place 5 or 6 shrimp in the basket and cook for 5 minutes.
  6. Repeat until all shrimp are cooked.
  7. Serve with Pina Colada Dip.
