Delicious homemade meatballs that pair perfectly with your favourite pasta sauce. Freeze well for make-ahead meals.

Ingredients
1/4cupfinely grated parmesan
1/4tspsalt
1/4tsppepper
2basil leaves chopped
1tbspgarlic plus or garlic powder
1/4cupbread crumbsuse crushed chex cereal for a gluten free option
1lblean ground beef
1egg.
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F
Mix meatball mixture thoroughly with your hands until all ingredients are spread evenly throughout. With a tablespoon scoop out mixture and form into a ball. (recipe makes approximately 20 meatballs)
Place parchment paper on a cookie sheet and arrange meatballs on cookie sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through. For crispier outsides broil until crispy.
Set meatballs on paper towel to absorb excess grease released during cooking process.
