My boys are heading to preschool in September – a special Montessori pre-school – their first experience with full day school. And, of course that means I will be packing lunch for the first time!

I was thrilled when Mott’s asked me to try their new Fruitsations and Veggie Fruit Snacks because my boys LOVE anything that are considered ‘gummies’ :) That said, lots of things fit that description but are not food I would readily feed my kids. When the Mott’s boxes arrived I looked closely to see what the ingredients were and the nutritional info. Loved that they included a variety of fruit concentrates and carrot concentrate. Each 22 gram pouch contains: 80 calories, 0 grams fat, 19 grams carbs, 30 mg sodium, 10 grams sugar, 100 % DV for vitamin C and 4% DV for vitamin A. My boys loved them so much that we’ve had to hid them away otherwise there would be none left for school lunches.

Mott’s Fruitsations and Veggie Fruit Snacks come in two flavours – Berry and Mixed Fruit. My boys loved both, but were particularly fond of the Berry as they are all about the colour red right now.
