We love camping recipes<\/a>! From breakfast to dessert and everything in between there are so many options for delicious food made on a camp stove or campfire. (Valium<\/a>) <\/p>\n We know this Camping Breakfast Skillet is going to be one of your absolute favorites.<\/p>\n All the essentials of a delicious breakfast that is easy to pack into a cooler and cook on your Coleman Cast Iron Skillet<\/a>. I love serving mine on a bed of spinach for some extra veggies!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n 4 cups cubed mini potatoes (we used multicolor mini potatoes) <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n Turn on camp stove and heat cast iron skillet. Our Camping Breakfast Skillet was prepared on the\u00a0Coleman Fyre Cadet Propane Stove<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Add your own ideas to this skillet by frying onions, topping with blue cheese or using leftover hot dogs instead of kielbasa.<\/p>\n Whichever way you create yours it will be a delicious breakfast that will keep you full and satisfied regardless of how long your morning hike is.<\/p>\n Plus, food just tastes better when it’s cooked outside, doesn’t it?<\/p>\nCamping Breakfast Skillet<\/h2>\n
\n1 tbsp butter
\n1 cup sliced and cubed kielbasa or cooked ham.
\n4 eggs
\n1 cup aged cheddar cheese<\/p>\n
\nAdd 2 cups of water and potatoes. Bring water to a boil.
\nReduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes or until potatoes are tender with a fork.
\nDrain the water and set the potatoes aside. Add butter to the pan and once melted add potatoes and kielbasa. Cook for three minutes stirring occasionally.
\nMake four spaces in the potato mixture and crack eggs into each indentation. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
\nSprinkle cheese over the egg mixture and cook until eggs are set and cheese is melted.<\/p>\n
