I love my slow cooker<\/a> and marvel at the vast array of recipes that can be created in it. From dinner to dessert and everything in between it’s a master at making meals easy and delicious. This recipe for homemade Slow Cooker Bits and Bites is easy, delicious and tastes just like the mixes my grandmother used to make.\u00a0 We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.<\/p>\n

Homemade Slow Cooker Bits and Bites<\/h2>\n

Ingredients:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

4 cups cereal squares (like Shreddies<\/a>)
\n3 cups toasted oat o’s (like
Cheerios<\/a>)
\n3 cups
Rice Chex<\/a>
\n3 cups
Pretzel Goldfish<\/a> (or pretzels)
\n2 cups salted peanuts
\n2 tsp garlic powder
\n1\/2 tsp
Herbamare<\/a> (or celery salt)
\n1 tsp
onion powder<\/a>
\n1\/2 tsp
seasoned salt<\/a>
\n1 cup butter, melted
\n3 tbsp
Worcestershire\u00a0sauce<\/a><\/p>\n

Directions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a large slow cooker combine all cereal, goldfish and peanuts.
\nMix together melted butter, Worcestershire sauce.
\nIn a small dish mix together garlic powder, onion powder, Herbamare, and seasoned salt.
\nCombine dry seasonings with butter mixture.
\nPour evenly over cereal tossing it to become coated.
\nCover and cook on high for 2 hours stirring often (approximately every 15 minutes) to ensure the mixture doesn’t burn.
\nCool and store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.<\/p>\n

Don’t forget you’ll need a Large Crock Pot<\/a>\u00a0we love our programmable one because it’s easy to set and not worry about. Set a timer on your phone to remind you of the 15-20 minute intervals to stir.<\/p>\n
