Milkshakes remind me of my grandma. She was the master of milkshakes and Coke floats. When I visited her house every afternoon we would make a milkshake of float, watch tv, play cards or playing crokinole until our fingers hurt. It was so much fun. We laughed, we talked, and we enjoyed our yummy drinks. Those were some of my favourite days as a child. A few weeks ago I received the new Vitamix 7500, a blender I have coveted for years. I stared at it in its box for days wondering what I would make first. Soup? Smoothie? Ice Cream? Salsa? The possibilities were endless. Then, I thought about it. The best thing I could make with my new Vitamix was a milkshake for my boys. A milkshake full of love, just like my grandma used to make me.
Holiday Hugs Milkshake

- 4 cups of milk
- 8-10 Hershey's hugs
Put all ingredients in Vitamix and mix until smooth.
My boys LOVED their first milkshake. The smiles on their faces when they took their first sip was truly priceless. Even though it’s cold outside, it’s never too cold to enjoy a delicious milkshake!
