Blueberry Almond Ginger Smoothie

My mornings are hectic. Very hectic.  Getting my twin 4 year olds out the door and off to Junior Kindergarten while I get myself ready for work requires planning, organization and a quick easy breakfast.  Since getting my Vitamix last year I have made hundreds of smoothies filled with greens, super foods and easily absorbed protein.  Over the next few weeks I will be sharing some of my favourites.  If you are are a smoothie lover check back to see the other unique and delicious creations I’ve made.

I love this smoothie because it combines the antioxidants of blueberries, healing properties of ginger and honey and the dairy-free protein of almond milk.  Whether you make this for breakfast or an after school snack I can guarantee you will make it more than once.
